Today, already more than 100 machines of the new type are in use. The machine has been developed for mass production and is designed for the simultaneous polishing of up to 24 ferrules, which guarantees optimum production throughput. The user-friendly software can be operated by means of a 5.7" colour touch screen. With the new solid construction of the polishing arm and the permanent regulation of the arm pressure during the polishing process, excellent geometry characteristics can be achieved. Beside the existing polishing programs for the standard connectors, there are 100 program positions for free programming. Data will be transferred to the HSP11 with an USB interface.
