E-2000 – Highest level of performance For over 20 years, HUBER+SUHNER has been successful in manufacturing and selling the E-2000 connector under licence. Due to the expiration of the manufacturing licence, the R&D department modified the connector in order to further improve the performance and simplify the termination process. Material selection and the precision manufacturing processes have always been critical in attaining performance levels, meeting the most demanding national and international standards and surpassing that of other optical connectors. Compliance to legal environmental regulations such as RoHS and REACH are strictly respected. Performance and high power Whenever optimal performance and high power transmission are critical to the application, E-2000 is the obvious choice. At HUBER+SUHNER, patch cords and pigtails with E-2000 connectivity are always manufactured corresponding to performance Grade B or better. Continuous testing in internal and external labs ensures a constant high level of quality. For the connector and adapter, premium material is used to maintain the high performance level over the entire operating period, even under varied ambient conditions. In production, the connector is subject to the most stringent requirements and 100 % outbound testing is performed. Assemblies with this specific connector are only manufactured by HUBER+SUHNER and its certified LAS (Local Assembly Shop) partners, who are selected on the basis of their in-depth knowledge and their ability to guarantee the highest quality standards according to strict standardised processes.
