During Malaysia’s Covid-19 “Movement Control Order” lockdown, participants ranging in age from four to 12 years old created a total of 16 artworks executed in various media – watercolour, crayons, and coloured pencil, for example – for the competition. Their family members work- ing at HUBER+SUHNER delivered their entries for judging. Prizes were awarded in three age categories (four to six years old, seven to nine years old, and ten to twelve years old), with first-prize winners receiving a gift voucher. Every participant was a winner and received a 36-count box of coloured pencils. Organisers said the competition’s objectives of raising awareness about COVID-19 and the pandemic were achieved, and competitors’ artworks remain on-site in Malaysia.
